Our daily breakfast

This week Dada and the volunteers have been doing a graduate fast to prepare for the one-month fast.

It consists of eating only raw fruits and vegetables for breakfast, and vegetables and rice cooked without oil for lunch and dinner. We can add extra virgin olive oil to the raw vegetables and cooked meals. We also drink between 2 and 4 litres of water every day before breakfast and between meals.

Tippawan, one of the children from Baan Dada, joined the detox to strengthen her immune system. The others are just doing it for support!

It hasn’t been easy every day (the first few days the hunger was intense!) and all that water is making us spend a whole lot of time in the toilet, but after five days we can all feel the benefits. The general mood has improved and we all feel light and healthy!

Today we are only drinking juice made fresh from raw fruits and vegetables: a new challenge!
