Day 31

Hiureka…Really exciting day. I have been waiting for this day! I finished my morning meditation and yoga this morning. It was not that sunny but a bright sun came around noon time.

Peta Pitts from England and her family came to visit us. Thank you to Peta and Bobbie to help us to support our Library Project and Medical Clinic Project. We will add a treatment room in our small Baan Dada Clinic soon. We are also on the way to getting one colema board as well for the home. Thank you to Katie Cumbers for raising funds for this equipment. I had my breakfast with Peta and her family. I had my 2 cups of apple juice and had pumpkin curry with sweet leafy vegetables. We enjoyed our conversation regarding detox and general health. I took my last picture for the detox fundraising.

I am 48kg with blood pressure 90/60 and pulse rate 54. I felt so light today and had more strength to grow within and to have a clear mind that makes a big difference for change. Come forward and join us……!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad I had support in this detox. Thank you to all the donors and supporter for the last 31 days. I am hoping more supporter and donors will make it possible for us to build this wellness center and help more people around us learn about healthy living and uplift their health standards.

Thank you so much to all the Baan Dada children, volunteers and staff who assisted me during this detox, which could not have been done without their help. A special thanks to the Home mothers who shared their chatting while I spent time cooking with them for this whole month, to taste the food that we cooked as I was not able to taste it – I still remember their comments “Dada add more salt in it”, perhaps I was not adding enough salt!

I will keep all of you posted on our progress through this blog and feel free to contact me if you are interested to donate and pass our project proposal to your friends, family and businesses.

With respect and deep gratitude,

Dada Prashanta

Day 30

It was such a bright day today. I was really excited for the last day. I did my morning meditation, yoga and continued with the sun bath. I had my purge today. It was a really long purge: I did it quite late and it took my whole afternoon going back and forth to the toilet…what a long day really. We ordered epsom salt for liver detoxes from a natural foods store via the internet. They will deliver afer 2-3 days. Carl will join the liver detox with me. I will start taking apple juice tomorrow. We bought some apples already for tomorrow. In the afternoon the children helped me to clear out the grass that grows in our front yard covering the playground. They accidentally cut one guava tree as they didn’t see it very carefully. Luckily the lower branch was still there, we hope it will grow again. In the evening I spent time in the kitchen to study with the children.

Today was the main day of the Mother’s Day celebrations in Thailand. The children were at home today. After morning breakfast I did meditation and had a sun bath. It was bright today with sunshine for almost the whole day. Some children went to see their parents to pay respect. I was supposed to do my purge today, but I decided to do it the next day when the children would be at school. My BP reading was very low; so in the afternoon I did a short run and cardio. In the evening I did my normal chores and supervised the children studying and preparing the food for the next morning.

Day 28

Today we celebrated Mothers Day at Baan Dada. I got up at 4.45am and did my morning meditation, then at 6.00am I supervised cooking the breakfast with the children.  We cooked a bamboo shoot dish and potato soup. It was sunny in the morning and I spent my time in the kitchen most of the time waiting for the next group to come and help with the cooking. My legs felt so heavy today. I could not move too much, I preferred to stay in the kitchen or in my room. I met Arisudan and his son in the afternoon and went to Sangklaburi to bring him from the station. We visited Baan Unrak Children’s Home as well. I bought some whole wheat bread for the volunteers, and ice cream and cake for the mothers. After the Mothers Day celebrations I had a shower and did evening meditation. I went to bed early.

Day 27

Today was sunny and the children led the yoga exercise by themselves. I led the cooking group in the kitchen. They had breakfast at 8.30am and were ready for life skills training at 9.00am. I had a shower and did morning meditation and a sun bath afterwards. After I had the morning coconut water I spent time with the children collecting rice husk from the nearby village Baan Mai. After lunch time I had a 20 minute nap as I was feeling weak. I was able to gain enough strength afterwards. I continued the evening chorus and joined them for the evening movie – we watched a cartoon called Dragon Ball. I checked my BP and went to bed.

Day 26

Today the local elementary school celebrated Mothers Day which is a big celebration in Thailand. I pushed myself this morning, I forget the kitchen key was with me. Luckily I woke up at 4am. I went straight to the kitchen and helped the mothers to cook. I did morning meditation and yoga. I came back from school and had my purge. There was no sunlight today, no sunbath either. In the afternoon it was bright at least so I could expose myself in the sun. I washed my clothes and had the coconut water at 1 pm. I started cooking again at 2.30pm. Today we cooked fried rice. For the volunteers we cooked a special dish with no cooked oil (briyani fried rice, fried noodle and corn soup). I supervised the evening study and went to bed early while the children were watching a movie. I looked forward to the next day, I feel lighter today and had a warm herbal tea before bed.

Day 25

I was happy to get a reply from Cebu Wellness Centre about my low BP – they confirmed that it is fine as long as I don’t feel any uneasiness, so I can continue without hesitation. I felt better this morning. I woke up so early because one of the mothers who is pregnant gave birth today at 3.00 am. I sent her to the nearby hospital and went back to the home to cook for the children. I did my morning meditation, sent the children to school and went to the local market to get some food supplies and more lemons for my detox. I had a sun bath after the market, then did office work. In the afternoon I did yoga and ran after cooking dinner. I spend the night with the children doing school home work. I decided to have a dry fast today after I finished my 2.5 litres of lemon water.

Day 23

I have felt so much better the past few days! Inside I felt great with excellent energy and a clear mind. The days have gone fast, no wonder the last 5 years at Baan Dada have gone so quickly. The past few days of the fast were different and I still don’t know why. My BP was 90/59 which was very low with a pulse of 65 and weight 50kg. It made a big question in my mind. I felt no dizziness, headache or weakness – I felt great! Let’s find out together!!! Who will join me…??? Come and support the event http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/neo-wellness-centre-in-huay-malai-phase-1/68789

I had my sunbath today with excellent morning sunlight. The sun was so bright for the whole afternoon today adding more energy on my fast. I cooked, did morning meditation and yoga asana – it was an excellent day today. I had a check around for stagnant rain water in the compound today with the help of the children. We walked around the house and the farm finding different spots where the mosquitoes might lay their eggs. We had it done in 1 hour while we picked up trash along the path. We collected fire wood for our cooking. I had my cardio workout by playing badminton after I cleaned the house.
